Robotics and hardware

Product design for robotics and hardware.

The software that runs your hardware.

The short answer.

Baobun Studio hasn’t designed for a robotics or hardware company yet. What transfers is the software side: dashboards, fleet and device views, setup flows and complex B2B tools. If your product is mostly the physical device, an industrial design firm like IDEO is a better fit.

We’ll be straight: we don’t design hardware. But a lot of hardware products live or die on their software, and that part we know well.

What makes it hard. The problems we hear most.

Why Baobun Studio. What we bring to your product.

Our closest work. Real products we’ve designed.

What clients say. Design and product leads we’ve worked with.

What we’d do first. The same start, for every product.

How to work with us. Fixed prices, on the site.

Questions. The ones people ask next.

Do you do industrial design?

No. We design the software. For the physical product, look at an industrial design firm.

Can you design before the hardware is ready?

Yes. A coded prototype with sample data lets you test the software early.

How much does product design for robotics and hardware cost?

Projects start at $15,000 at a fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts. The design partner plan starts at $15,000 a month.

How long does it take?

A focused redesign takes about four weeks. A larger product takes up to 12, and the scope says so before you sign.

Who does the work?

The founder, a senior product designer with 10+ years in B2B and AI products, designs every project.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with a free UX audit, a $1,000 dashboard redesign, or a two-week pilot for $7,500.
